Dinner Service at PATH Connections Housing

Join PATH (PEOPLE ASSISTING THE HOMELESS) San Diego and Urban Angels to help serve healthy and delicious meals to our 134 residents.
We prepare dinner every night of the week and need your help to serve it. Our goal is to create a welcoming restaurant atmosphere for our residents. Volunteers serve each member with dignity and respect, making their dining experience enjoyable.
By providing a meal to someone in need, you are making a difference in the community and the lives of others.
As space is limited, make sure to register before participating in this awesome event!

Due to COVID-19, dinner service will be from 4:45pm - 6pm and has a limit of up to 5 volunteers in the kitchen. The meals will be prepared in take-out boxes, and will be taken upstairs by staff. Volunteers will not come into contact with clients.

Key Responsibilities:- Set tables with plates, silverware, cups, and fresh fruit- Greet PATH residents with a smile as they enter dining hall- Create a welcoming atmostphere by chatting and connecting with the residents- Carry food trays to and from kitchen to tables- Deliver desserts to tables- Bus tables after meals are completed.

Anyone under the age of 16 must have a parental guardian or chaperone. Ages 16-18 may volunteer on their own with a waiver signed by their parent or guardian.

PATH recommends casual and comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. In addition, please be mindful of the level of appropriateness of your dress.
